Haunted Laurianne Woods

Not many people know, or maybe not that many people have made it out to tell others, that deep in the woods of Northern Virginia lies a haunted trail within the Haunted Laurianne Woods. Fall is here and the inhabitants of the woods are out and ready to play. If this is your first time visiting or you are one of the lucky thrill seekers who has survived, you are in for a treat and new tricks this year! Come visit the Haunted Laurianne Woods interactive experience just a few minutes up Linton Hall Road.

Attraction List

Travel twisting paths through the mysterious woods to six horrifically detailed attractions.

  1. Enter the unkempt and forgotten “Laurianne Woods Cemetery”
  2. Find your way through the “Corn Fields of the Great Pumpkin”
  3. Survive the “Lair of the Spider Witch”
  4. Discover an abandoned carnival at “Girrand’s Traveling Circus and Oddities Sideshow”
  5. Uncover the local legend “The Bunny Man”
  6. Escape a backwoods swamp in “The Cleburne Family Plot.” More information can be found at hauntedlauriannewoods.com.

As if this couldn’t get any better, you can experience these attractions for FREE. While this is a free event, we ask that you help support the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry through our canned food drive. The Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, a 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to eliminating hunger by providing food to individuals and families in Haymarket, Gainesville and the surrounding areas. See haymarketfoodpantry.org/ for additional information about the food pantry. Donations are being collected each night of the haunt but arrangements for drop-offs at other times can be arranged via e-mail: [email protected].

This is all made possible by Haunt Enthusiast Ben Newman, who works in Information Technology by day, and as a haunt master by night. He has been giving his family, friends, and neighbors something to scream about since 2012. This has been a passion of his since childhood; he and his wife Anna have been transforming their backyard every year, with the help of volunteers who donate their time and talents to help make each haunt a success. Good luck making it out of the woods – you’re going to need it!
