World War II-era Musicals: Melody Parade (1943)

            pwc library(Prince William County, VA, 08/22/2013…..Movie master Gary Crawford brings his projector and films back to Bull Run Regional Library on Thursdays this fall, showing a series of World War II-era musicals. The series will kick off on Thursday, September 26th at 7:00 p.m. with Melody Parade (1943), in which a busboy at a nightclub sets out to make sure that the pretty blonde hatcheck girl gets the singing career she’s always wanted. The film was directed by Arthur Dreifuss and stars Mary Beth Hughes and Eddie Quillan. Curtain time for all movies is 7:00 p.m. As is our custom, we will have a trivia quiz during each movie and clever members of the audience can bask in fame and glory! Popcorn will be provided; please bring your own covered beverage.
