Here’s a “can’t-miss” opportunity to turn your simple cakes into sophisticated and trendy treats worthy of a celebration. It’s Cake Decorating I and Cake Decorating II – two instructive and fun classes, sponsored by the Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation.
In the first class, Cake Decorating I on Thursday, December 5, you’ll learn to make frosting and pipe decorations like leaves, flowers, lettering and borders. During the second session, Cake Decorating II on Wednesday and Thursday, December 18 and 19, you’ll bake a cake from scratch, make the icing and apply toppings with designs that will turn your cake into an inspired showstopper.
All classes, December 5, 18 and 19 are held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams Street. Students are required to bring their own electric stand mixer to class. If you don’t have a stand mixer, contact the instructor at [email protected].
