Contributed by Over the Fence Post

It’s not too early to think about the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. This year’s event will be on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Tim’s Rivershore Restaurant & Crabhouse located at 1510 Cherry Hill Road in Dumfries.

Registration is open now and the public is invited. There’ll be a fun beach party, a COOL costume contest, and an icy plunge into the Potomac River!

The Polar Plunge benefits Special Olympics, an organization which is supported by the Prince William County Police Department and law enforcement officers throughout the United States and in 45 countries. To register, and for more information, please visit Tims_Rivershore_Polar_Plunge.
