Senator Mark Warner to Appear at Annual Oratorical Contest

(Virginia, December 20, 2013)—Aids from Senator Mark Warner’s office confirmed the Senator’s attendance at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical Contest hosted by the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter (PWCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  The event will take place on January 20, 2014, at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge, Va.

In conjunction with the Delta Education & Public Service Foundation and the Cecil & Irene Hylton Foundation, PWCAC provides students in Manassas City, Manassas Park, and Prince William County Public Schools an opportunity to celebrate the life and writings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  As the Sorority of Delta Sigma Theta embarks on its next century of sisterhood and community service, students in this contest will focus on this year’s theme—There is Still a Dream to Believe in.

Other special guests include, the representative for the 11th Congressional District Gerry Connolly.
