When:  November 18 through December 18, 2013

1.    Select a tag off of one of the two trees located in the Showroom or the Service Lounge.

2.    Let the Receptionist or the Service Cashier know what tag you pulled and your name and e-mail address.

3.    Shop for your child’s wishes on the back of the tag.  Your donation is up to $50 for both gifts combined.

4.    Bring your unwrapped gifts back – give to either the Receptionist or Service Cashier.

Volunteer Prince William announced Wednesday they are teaming up with Hendrick Honda Woodbridge for their third annual “Un-Trim-A-Tree, Adopt a Child Today!” initiative.

Hendrick Honda Woodbridge set a goal of helping 81 children in 44 families, but they need the public’s help. For every child “adopted” by a local resident, Hendrick Honda Woodbridge will adopt one as well.

All 81 children receiving gifts attend Potomac View Elementary School.

“It is gratifying to see Leadership Prince William and Hendrick Honda join with the community to bring holiday cheer to our students,” said Principal Susan Porter. “This is the kind of generosity that warms children’s hearts and shows in their smiles.”

The Un-Trim-A-Tree Holiday Gift Program provides holiday gifts for over 5,000 needy children throughout the Prince William County community.  Donors provide two gifts for each child valued at no more than $50 total.

“For over 30 years, the Un-Trim-A-Tree holiday gift program has brought together churches, businesses and families in helping a child at Christmas,” said Mary Foley, Executive Director at Volunteer Prince William. “We are so appreciative that Hendrick Honda is reaching out to their friends, customers and family to support all these children at Potomac View Elementary. They are truly in tuned with their community and we are most appreciative of their investment in our kids.”

In December 2012, Hendrick Honda Woodbridge and Volunteer Prince William teamed up for the second time with their “Un-trim-A-Tree, Adopt a Child Today!” initiative. To date, a total of over 290 local elementary school students were “adopted” thanks to Hendrick Honda’s efforts.

F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, Inc. join Hendrick Honda Woodbridge, Volunteer Prince William, News Channel8, and Dynamedia of America, to bring joy to the children of Potomac View Elementary this year.
