City-Seal[2]City of Manassas, VA . . . Celebrate the coming spring with some great events and exhibits at the Manassas Museum. Go on a bicycle tour, walking tour or see the new exhibit and make sure to drop by one of the Museum’s free book talks.

March 8, April 12 and May 10 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Take off on a Bicycle Tour with the Manassas Museum. This series of bike tours will alternate between the eastern and western ends of the City and feature stops at Civil War forts, cemeteries, markers, and other areas of local interest.

March 17 – April 21
Reflections, a new exhibit features exciting artwork by Osbourn High School Art Students. The Museum is offering free admission for Osbourn students and their families.

March 9 at 2 p.m.
Join the Manassas Museum for a Free Book Talk with Author Bob O’Connor about his book The Amazing Legacy of James E. Hanger. Bob O’Connor tells the story of a soldier whose invention revolutionized medical science in this book of historical fiction.

March 23 at 2 p.m.
Join Author Donald Hopkins at the Manassas Museum for his Free Book Talk on Robert E. Lee in War and Peace. Even many who don’t consider themselves students of history would recognize a photograph of Robert E. Lee, with his iconic white hair, beard, and intensestare. Hopkins, however, is interested in the less familiar images of Lee. Many of the images in this book are being published for the first time.

Bring your toddler to Pre-K Tuesday at the Manassas Museum on the second Tuesday of the Month at 10 a.m. Enjoy storytelling, crafts, songs, and outdoor exploration. The Manassas Museum is also offering Walking Tours and Architectural Tours during the spring. Find out about these and future events at www.manassasmuseum.org.
