Third Thursday Thrillers Book Discussion Group

pwc library(Prince William County, VA, 01/21/2014)… Join Potomac Community Library on Thursday, February 20th at 7:00 p.m. for “Deadly Politics” by Maggie Sefton.  Molly Malone was driven from Washington, D.C., by political back-stabbing, scandals, and personal heartbreak. She swore she’d never come back but now is starting her life over again back in Washington, D.C.  When Molly’s only Washington job prospect falls through, her politico niece, Karen, arranges for her to work in the office of a freshman senator. As the former wife of a congressman, Molly well aware of office politics, and is alarmed to hear that Karen is having an affair with her boss, congressional chief of staff Jed Molinoff. Days later Molly finds Karen shot to death and discovers that Molinoff has ransacked Karen’s apartment. Molly investigates further, and finds herself in the crosshairs of a shadowy political group that’s killing anyone who gets in its way.
