Prince William County– The Aden Road Bridge over the Norfolk-Southern Railroad will be closed on Tuesday, Mar. 18 and Wednesday, Mar. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as crews perform geotechnical borings in the area.
Detour signs will be in place along the detour route and variable message signs will be running several days before Tuesday, Mar. 18 to notify the public of this pending closure. Traffic will be detoured via Marsteller Drive and Fitzwater Drive.
This work is part of the $4.56 million project to refurbish the existing single lane historic truss bridge and construct an additional one-lane conventional bridge over the Norfolk-Southern Railroad, enabling two-way traffic along Aden Road.  For more information, visit the Aden Road Bridge Replacement project page.
