WOODBRIDGE, VA – Sentara Healthcare is pleased to welcome Dr. Monjari C. Gillian and Dr. Theresa M. Yuh to Sentara Radiology Specialists, serving the Northern Virginia communities in Alexandria and Lorton.
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Gillian and Dr. Yuh interpret radiology studies and perform image-guided procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of women’s health conditions. Dr. Gillian and Dr. Yuh bring expertise and compassion to the Sentara imaging centers, providing patients with peace of mind and knowledge that they are receiving the highest quality care.
About Our Radiologists:
Dr. Gillian earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri, School of Medicine in Columbia, MO, in 1993. She completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1997 before going on to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1998.
Dr. Gillian has over 15 years of experience in women’s imaging. She specializes in ultrasound with an emphasis on OB/GYN ultrasound as well as all facets of breast imaging, such as mammography, ultrasound and MRI. Dr. Gillian has extensive experience in image-guided breast biopsy using stereotactic, ultrasound and MR guidance. Dr. Gillian is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Yuh received her medical degree from New York School of Medicine in New York, NY, in 1997. She completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, in 2002 before completing a fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, in 2003.
Dr. Yuh is a highly trained radiologist who specializes in women’s imaging, specifically OB/GYN ultrasound and breast imaging, including procedures such as hysterosonograms, amniocentesis, as well as breast biopsies with ultrasound and stereotactic guidance. She is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Radiological Society of North America.
