RICHMOND, VA (February 5, 2015) – The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts will host the first major American exhibition to explore French floral still-life painting from the late 18th century through the early 20th century. Co-organized by VMFA and the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts, the exhibit will include 65 paintings by more than 30 artists, including the renowned Vincent van Gogh, Edouard Manet, Henri Matisse, Paul Cézanne, Gustave Courbet and Eugène Delacroix.
In partnership with VMFA, The Jefferson Hotel will offer a special Van Gogh, Manet, and Matisse: The Art of the Flower Package to include accommodations, traditional Southern breakfast for two, breakfast gratuity, two tickets to VMFA exhibit, valet parking and complimentary transportation to and from VMFA.
