Studies Look at Economic and Traffic Impacts of Proposed Stadium

Whether you support, or have concerns, about the proposed Potomac Nationals Stadium at Potomac Town Center, you are encouraged to attend the Woodbridge Potomac Communities Civic Assocation’s June 15 meeting, where we will dive into this topic.  Under the current proposal, the County would authorize $35 million in Industrial Development Authority bonds, which the Potomac Nationals would repay, to build the stadium. A VDOT grant will fund a parking garage and the widening of Neabsco Mills Road. Recent studies on planning, traffic and economic development impact show that the stadium would generate:
