EIDOS Technologies Offers Technical Help for Local Businesses

By Helena Tavares Kennedy

Helleni Moon has over 17 years of experience in the government and consulting sectors but wanted to make a difference in her work and help clients out on a deeper level. That’s what caused her to start her business, EIDOS Technologies, in 2015.

EIDOS Technologies helps companies, agencies and departments of all sizes manage and navigate their corporate IT and Data Management needs in this complicated and ever-changing cyber-universe.

“I have a passion for working with different technologies and a passion to see what a difference my work can do for a client,” said Moon.

She started as a developer and steadily increased her role in management and expanded into development for Java, Visual Basic and Cold Fusion. She also designed and developed databases using various platforms and has experience with report development using Crystal Reports, Discoverer Vision, Oracle reports, and Cognos. She has experience in large migration and testing efforts as well as in release management solutions. Furthermore, her expertise in the various technologies has proven beneficial in help desk support for one of her clients in troubleshooting tickets related to data discrepancies, reporting issues, and general operational support.

These may all sound like foreign languages to many people, but that’s the point. Moon’s diverse and in-depth technical skills allow her to help clients on a variety of projects.

“These skills allowed me to assist on some very critical projects such as being a part of a team to help implement and design the first phases of their data warehouse efforts,” said Moon. “My experience in various areas has enabled me to provide a more holistic approach when providing a solution to our clients.”

Being PMP certified helps Moon and her clients since the certification means that the company follows the guidelines associated with PBMBOK guidelines.

“I strive to provide not only lasting solutions but solutions that are adaptable to change as our technologies evolve,” said Moon.

But one thing that doesn’t change is her utmost client service and ensuring that her clients get exactly the technical help they need.

Her dedication to clients shows as EIDOS was recently awarded the 2017 Best of Manassas Award in the Information Technology Services category by the Manassas Award Program. The Manassas Award Program annually honors the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Manassas area.

Moon’s focus on the future includes business to business clients which currently are mainly government clients. “I want to expand more into helping small businesses grow and help them streamline their business,” said Moon.

EIDOS works both locally in the Washington, DC area and Northern and Central Virginia regions, as well as remotely for clients located throughout North America.
