After decades of popularity, freestanding bathtubs are considered de rigueur—and Drummonds has been creating hand-poured, hand-finished cast iron bathtubs for more than 20 years. While Drummonds’ reputation may be bound to their ability to form unique, classically imagined tubs, they are gaining recognition for their wonderfully unique freestanding shower systems. Architecturally structured, aesthetically captivating and modernly relevant, these showers define the bath.
The Thurso freestanding shower is an inspired redesign of Drummonds’ classic Severn freestanding shower, featuring an elegantly curved skirt that perfectly matches the curvature of their signature baths. Thurso is a complete glass-enclosed shower unit, which can stand magnificently in the middle of a bathroom, or even in a bedroom. The Thurso shower has a classic 300 mm (12”) shower head and built-in hand shower, providing users with a blissful all-over drenching. The base is cast iron, and comes raw, primed or polished. The exterior is available either in Brass, Nickel, Chrome, Antique Brass, Antique Bronze or Antique Nickel.
The Spittal shower is a complete glass-enclosed shower unit. The freestanding shower has a classic 200 mm (8”) shower head and hand shower attachment. The cast iron shower tray comes in various finishes, including primed, ready to paint on site, painted in any color or polished and lacquered. The beautifully crafted shower is completely freestanding, but comes with a soap dish holder fitted in the glass for shower products.
The Severn is a much larger version of Drummonds’ iconic Spittal freestanding shower, featuring a larger 300 mm (12″) shower head. The cast iron shower tray comes in various finishes, including primed, ready to paint on site, painted in any color of your choice or polished and lacquered. The shower is completely freestanding, but comes with a soap dish holder fitted into the glass for your shower products.
