Strategic Management Partners announced that Molly Brooks of Capital Caring will give a presentation to participants of Navigating the Caregiving Journey, a conference to empower family caregivers with resources and knowledge. She will define and discuss the difference between hospice and palliative care; discuss the who, what, when, where, and why of hospice; and discuss common myths about hospice.
Molly Brooks, RN-BC, CHPN is the Executive Director of the Prince William and Fauquier Neighborhood of Capital Caring, which provides coordinated care for those living with advanced illness and their families. Molly holds specialty certifications in Gerontology and Hospice and Palliative Care. She serves on both the Cancer Committee and Tumor Board at Fauquier Hospital. She is also President and Co-Founder of Hero’s Bridge, a 501(c)3 organization which aims to serve, stand by and honor aging veterans at no expense to them or their families.
