Keep Prince William Beautiful, Inc. (KPWB), Prince William County’s leading environmental action organization committed to inspiring individual responsibility and collective action to keep our communities clean, green, and beautiful, today called on Prince William County Schools to participate in Keep America Beautiful’s Recycle Bowl. This simple, engaging, and fun competition is for all interested K-12 schools in the United States. Schools can register until October 13th at recycle-bowl.org

“We believe Prince William County is poised to demonstrate to the wider world how clean, green communities are vibrant, thriving ones,” said Jason Parsons, Executive Director of KPWB, “We encourage all Prince William County schools to join this competition, have fun, and teach the next generation the importance of recycling, and how it will help save our environment.”

Schools develop a plan of their choosing, and track and measure their results online. The winning school receives a beautiful new bench from Keep America Beautiful, and Keep Prince William Beautiful is offering an additional landscape prize to the winning participating school in Prince William County.

To register, please visit recycle-bowl.org, and contact Lynda Ingalls Kummelt, KPWB’s Program Manager, at [email protected] for more information.
