Peter Pan Auditions

Auditions for Broadway’s musical version of PETER PAN, presented by the Center for the Arts’ Pied Piper Theatre, will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28 (callbacks Oct. 29) at the Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory, 9419 Battle Street, Manassas.  Young actors, singers, and dancers ages 8-18 are needed for over 40 roles, including Peter Pan, Wendy, Hook, pirates, Indians, lost boys, and many more characters from Neverland.

Three performances are scheduled at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on Jan. 20-21, 2018.  Auditions are by appointment only by calling the Center for the Arts at 703-330-2787.  Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  How to Audition classes are also offered Oct. 23-25 for those that would like to hone their audition skills.  Audition information and requirements are available at center-for-the-arts.org.

Directed by Kelly Glyptis, Peter Pan, the musical, is based on the play by Sir J.M. Barrie with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, additional lyrics by Betty Comden & Adolph Green, music by Morris Charlap, additional music by Jule Styne.  Originally directed, choreographed and adapted by Jerome Robbins.
