Keep Prince William Beautiful, the Prince William County environmental action organization committed to clean, green communities, hosted U.S. Representative Rob Wittman at the organization’s headquarters in Woodbridge for a roundtable discussion on efforts to protect the Chesapeake Bay, to promote agribusiness, and protect wildlife habitats. Keep Prince William Beautiful hosted Congressman Wittman as part of the organization’s Thought Leadership Series, because KPWB is committed to delivering world-class programs that keep our communities clean while also leading new innovations that demonstrate clean, green communities are economically thriving, healthy, and beautiful ones.
“We were honored to welcome Congressman Wittman for a serious, thoughtful, and in-depth discussion about the work we must do to have beautiful communities where people can do beautiful things in beautiful places,” said Marlo Thomas Watson, CEO of The Marlo Company and President of KPWB.
Wittman serves on the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources and provided an update on legislation to continue support for volunteer efforts of the National Wildlife Refuges.
“Keep Prince William Beautiful continues to convene conversations and to help lead the way in finding solutions and opportunities in Prince William County that demonstrate to the wider world how clean, green communities are prosperous and healthy ones,” said KPWB’s Executive Director Jason Parsons.
