When you think of state fair competitions, grandma’s blue-ribbon apple pie and Uncle Joe’s prize-winning cow are what come to mind. The cosmetology students at Stonewall Jackson High School had different ideas when it came to competing at the Virginia State Fair, thanks to a competition hosted by SkillsUSA. Cosmetology students participated in three different categories: Cosmetology Total Fashion Look, Cosmetology Fantasy Manikin, and Manikin Comb Out.

Congratulations to the following students in the Stonewall Jackson High School Cosmetology Program for winning in the following categories:

Manikin Comb Out

1st Place Cynthia Rivas- Patriot High School

3rd Place Karla Renderos-Stonewall High School

4th Place Jessica Manuel- Brentsville High School

Fantasy Comb Out

5th Place Liliana Maltez

Good luck at the next competition and congratulations on your achievements at the State Fair! Your level of excellence makes us proud.
