Agape Love in Action (ALIA) – the non-profit arm of Contract Solutions, Inc. (CSI) – is pleased to announce a partnership between Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) and Carteret Community College (CCC). These partnerships will provide free computer classes to senior citizens. Classes for NVCC will begin Dec. 1, 2017 at their Woodbridge Campus. Classes for Carteret Community College will begin at their Morehead City campus (North Carolina) no later than early January 2018.

Under existing partnerships with community colleges in North Carolina – Central Carolina Community College and Craven Community College – “Wisdom Meets Technology (WMT)” has funded 414 enrollments since March 2016. All classes have been provided free of charge to senior citizens and the students have ranged from ages 62 to 89.

Subject to funding and income eligibility, some students also received free laptops after successfully completing a three-course curriculum. To date classes have been held in  three North Carolina locations. The newest collaborations provide five training sites, and partnerships with four community colleges in two states.

“We celebrate and appreciate our community colleges. We thank the small business community and friends who support and embrace our senior citizens who believe that it’s never too late to learn!” said Ms. Corliss Udoema, President and CEO of CSI, and founder of ALIA.
