Citizen REVIVE Training Sessions in January

Provided by Prince William County Police

REVIVE! is a program of the Commonwealth of Virginia that makes naloxone (Narcan®) available to lay rescuers to reverse opioid overdoses. This REVIVE! Training will provide you with the skills and tools to administer naloxone.

Did you know…..

  • Opioid overdoses continue to increase in our community?
  • The only way to reverse an opioid overdose is to administer NALOXONE?
  • You can be trained to administer this life-saving medication?

REVIVE! trains individuals on what to do and not do in an overdose situation, how to administer naloxone, and what to do afterwards. Each attendee also receives a free REVIVE! kit, which includes all the supplies needed to administer naloxone. Participants will receive intranasal Narcan after completion of this training.

Prince William County Community Services has partnered with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, the Prevention Alliance of Greater Prince William and the Chris Atwood Foundation to provide the REVIVE! trainings in our community.

This ninety-minute REVIVE! training is free and open to everyone. If you or someone you know uses opioids, PLEASE ATTEND!
