New Kindergartener? Help Your Child Be Ready

Do you have a child who will begin kindergarten in September? Help them get excited about starting school and find out how you can foster their successful transition to kindergarten.

Bring your child to one of these kindergarten readiness events offered by staff from Prince William County Public Schools during May at Prince William County Public Library locations. PWCS kindergarten teachers will share simple ideas to help your preschooler become excited about school, get ready to learn, and successfully transition to kindergarten.

Central Community Library (8601 Mathis Avenue, Manassas)

  • Monday, May 7, 7:00 p. m.
  • Tuesday, May 8, 7:00 p. m. (Spanish)

Potomac Community Library (2201 Opitz Boulevard, Woodbridge)

  • Wednesday, May 9, 7:00 p. m.

Montclair Community Library (5049 Waterway Drive, Dumfries)
