Public Invited to Attend Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New School

The public is invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Independence Nontraditional School on Thursday, Aug. 23. A reception will begin at 5:00 p. m. and will be followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:00 p. m. The school is located at 14550 Aden Road, Manassas, at the corner of Aden and Joplin Roads. Elected officials, the school community, School Board members, and school officials are expected to attend.

This unique, state-of-the-art school facility will combine the former New Directions and New Dominion Alternative Education Centers, as well as PACE East.

The principal is Robert Eichorn; administrators include Amy Cole, Brandon Neal, Jodi Pankowski, and Inmar Romero. The telephone number for the school is 571.374.6600.
