Student applications for nominations by the 10th District Service Academy Advisory Board to one of the nation’s military academies for the Class of 2023 are due Friday, Sept. 28. The applications are due in Congresswoman Barbara Comstock’s Sterling district office by 5:00 p. m. on that date.
“The future leaders of our country are applying today to be a part of our nation’s service academies,” said Comstock. “Our region is home to some of the best and brightest students and I am confident that this year’s class of applicants will be exceptionally strong. The strength and integrity of America’s armed forces depends on students like these to serve and to sacrifice for the next generation.
“There is no doubt that the students of the class of 2023 are leaders to those around them. Courage and honor are the pillars that these students exemplify as they forge their pathway to service. This year’s 10th District Service Academy Advisory Board will have their work cut out for them as they review the applications.”
