The Hylton Center Thanks Azalea Charities

Provided by Hylton Performing Arts Center

The Veterans and the Arts Initiative at the Hylton Performing Arts Center is honored to announce Azalea Charities as the Presenting Sponsor of Celebrating Veterans and the Arts at the Hylton Center for the fourth year. This year, Azalea Charities is again contributing $20,000. Azalea Charities is a local, volunteer-based non-profit organization that has a dual mission of worldwide aid for Wounded Warriors and support for community charities.

Since 2014, the Veterans and the Arts Initiative has celebrated Veterans Day through the arts; since 2017, the Initiative facilitates year-round arts programming through workshops and special events that are free-of-charge for our community’s Veterans, Servicemembers, and their families. The Veterans and the Arts Initiative collaborates with Veterans Service Organizations, community groups, and arts organizations, as well as local leaders in government, business, and the community.

This November 8-10, Celebrating Veterans and the Arts will offer live performances including The Center for American Military Music Opportunities (C*A*M*M*O), country music artist William Michael Morgan, interactive arts opportunities, an art exhibition of Hidden Narratives by Patrick Sargent, and community resources for Veterans, Servicemembers, their families, and military caregivers.
