Home, Health & Beauty Fair at Montclair Community Library

“It’s an exciting event,” said Emma Young, President of the Friends of the Montclair Community Library, about the Home, Health and Beauty Fair on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. “We’ve got the popular Dave’s Dogs food truck, free chair massages, raffle items, vendors selling home, health, and beauty wares and services, and giveaways with every purchase,” she said.

This is the first event of this kind held at the Montclair Community Library, a 20,000 square foot Prince William County Library facility. The library has a parking garage and is located near the intersection of Route 234 (Dumfries Road) and Waterway Drive in the Montclair subdivision. The event will have over 20 vendors and raffle items donated by each in support of the library’s services and programs.

“As a former English teacher, and now woodworker and business owner of Ashen Oak Designs, I’m thrilled to be part of an event that gives back to the community and helps our local library,” said Jenn Oginsky. “Make sure to come down and Christmas shop or browse for yourself, as several vendors and I will have handcrafted items on hand.”

The public will have the opportunity to purchase from local food truck favorite Dave’s Dogs, marking another first for the library: hosting a food truck. “We’re looking forward to serving and meeting everyone on Saturday at the Montclair Library. Come by for a hot dog, BBQ sandwich, seafood basket, or something else from our menu; all made hot and fresh when you order it,” said David Gray, owner/operator of Dave’s Dogs.

It’s not just about eating, shopping, and winning raffles; it’s about health and wellness too. “I’m excited to support our fantastic library and feature my mobile massage therapy business’ wellness services by offering free chair massages at the fair. It’s going to be a great event,” said Andrea Gess, owner/operator of Andrea Gess Wellness.
