Ingleside at Home Personal Care Aide Certification

Ingleside at Home now offers a Personal Care Aide Certification course for individuals becoming senior care providers. Personal care assistants will be trained in-house with Ingleside Next Generation University programming. Ingleside values its caregivers and is determined to provide its clients with the best quality of at-home care.

The Institute for Professional Care Education’s certification course is offered under the Ingleside Next Generation University. This program is tailored to educate individuals seeking paid employment and family members in caregiving roles. The 40-hour interactive online course contains the following six modules: Becoming a Caregiver, Basic Foundations for Care, Caregiving in an Emergency, Nuts and Bolts for Caregiving, Providing Personal Care and Services, and Crucial Skills. The lessons range from teaching basic skills such as hair grooming and nail care to crucial skills such as end-of-life care.

Ingleside at Home, a service available at Westminster at Lake Ridge and in the surrounding Virginia area, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, offering personal and customized home care. Services include personal care, companionship and socialization, homemaking, and medical escorts. In the near future, Ingleside will offer its at-home services to Ingleside at Rock Creek and Ingleside at King Farm, as well as the greater community in D.C. and Maryland.

Ingleside at Home was recently awarded Best of Home Care® – Leader in Excellence by Home Care Pulse. This award acknowledged 130 providers in 31 states nationwide; Ingleside at Home was one of only two providers acknowledged in the state of Virginia.
