The Prince William County Public Schools 2020 Virtual Summer School Program and dates are:
- Elementary and Middle School Summer Program: July 6–24, 2020 (15-day program)
- English Learner High School Academy: June 22-July 31, 2020
- Operation Graduation-Grad Academy (current seniors only): June 22-July 31, 2020
Seniors who complete graduation requirements by July 31, 2020, will be eligible to participate in their base school graduation ceremony.
Registration for the Elementary and Middle School Summer Programs will run through Friday, June 12, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. Parent(s)/guardian(s) will receive communication from the Summer School Office to complete registration using a Microsoft form. Due to COVID-19, there will be no late or on-site registration. All registration forms will be processed by the Summer School Office. Summer School principals will communicate information regarding the Virtual Summer School program to families by Wednesday, June 24, 2020. More information is available on our Summer School webpage.
Registration for Operation Graduation-Grad Academy will run through Friday, June 12, 2020. Due to COVID-19, there will be no late or on-site registration. Applications for Operation Graduation-Grad Academy are available on the High School Summer School webpage.
Due to the virtual learning platform, all enrichment (Art, Elementary Math, and Algebra Prep) and success (MS and HS Success) are canceled. Refunds for the enrichment and success programs will be automatically processed. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing.
Virtual Prince William (VPW), the School Division’s online high school program, will offer a summer school program June 22–July 31, 2020. VPW courses are available for grade 9-11 students in need of remedial or first-time credit. Registration for VPW is now open. For more information, visit the VPW webpage.
