This November, the nation will mark Veterans Day as well as the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps. On Monday, Nov. 10, the National Museum of the Marine Corps will host its annual Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony at the museum in Triangle, to celebrate this historic occasion. The event will feature the traditional cake-cutting ceremony and musical performances by the Quantico Marine Band.
As one of the nation’s most significant commemorations of the Marine Corps’ founding, the event offers a rare opportunity for the public and press to experience the pageantry and pride of this storied tradition. The museum welcomes all to join in honoring generations of Marines who have served our nation with courage and distinction.
