28 Small Businesses ‘Opened for Business’ in October 2022

Twenty-eight small business owners received a certificate of occupancy/written authorization to ‘Open for Business’ from the Department of Development Services Small Business Project Management (SBPM) Program in October 2022. The total count for the January 2022 – October 2022 period was three hundred and twenty-three businesses ‘Open for Business.’

“We encourage all entrepreneurs to contact our small business project program early in their business planning phase, so that they can benefit from a team of experts,” shared Wade A. Hugh, Director, Department of Development Services. “Starting a new brewery or restaurant is a major undertaking, with important building safety, kitchen equipment safety, and fire prevention requirements.”

Great Mane Brewery has opened at 6620 James Madison Hwy in Haymarket and now offers its space as a group meeting place for clubs, outside of its normal operating hours.

‘Coming Soon’ this month is Ooh Soo Chicken, an ‘asian fusion and korean style fried chicken’ restaurant newly located at 14563 Potomac Mills Rd and Ha Hu café and market at 3143 Golansky Blvd.

The Popcorn bag moved to a larger space in suite 121at 13885 Hedgewood Dr. De Las Sisters Bakery & Tropical Ice opened at 4148 Dale Blvd. Wasabiko, Japanese restaurant, opened at 10695 Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas and Tipicos Soyapango and Antojitos Santa Elena is also open at 10526 Lomond Ave.

In Lakeridge’s Dillingham Square, you will find Cravings Cupcakery, offering a selection of gourmet cakes and cupcakes to choose from. Nearby, House Calls Home Care, offers in-home supportive care services, which opened in the Dominion Professional Center, Suite 201-5, 1346 Old Bridge Rd and CH Massage has moved into Suite 101, 1455 Old Bridge Rd. Nexa Mortgage services are now available at #203, 2080 Old Bridge Rd. Will Power Enterprises services are also for hire at #201 1346 Old Bridge Rd.

New to Manassas Mall are Beautiful Ibrows and the Café Pottery and Splatter Paint Room located at 8300 Sudley Road, Manassas. Bombshell Beauty Lounge opened at 5381 Merchants View Square, Haymarket.

Keystone Physical Therapy is now open at 3783 Fettler Park Dr in Dumfries. Dania Hair Styles opened in the Phenix Salon Suites, Smoketown Station, 2980 Prince William Parkway and Mixology Hair Lounge, is open at #104, 13200 Marina Way. Multi Mobile Solutions and Rosita’s Fashions has opened at 14515 Richmond Hwy and close by is Discount Designer Outlet and Computer Accessories which opened at 14421 Richmond Hwy.

Permaskin, Beauty Center and Academy, opened in suite 101, 13663 Office Place in Occoquan. Angies Nail Salon opened at #102, 206 Union Street in Occoquan.

Old Town Hydro, a hydroponics equipment supplier, opened at 8103 Centreville Road, Manassas. First American Carpet & Floor, a full-service provider of flooring, countertops, and custom rugs, relocated to 14015 Noblewood Plaza. J Street 1976 is now located in Prince William Square Shopping Center, 14210 Smoketown Rd, Dale City and Tobacco King expanded to 14170 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge.
