On Sept. 11, 2026, the National Museum of the Marine Corps commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. The public had opportunities remember, reflect and experience compelling artifacts connected to that day and its aftermath.
The Museum also hosted the free, public book launch of The Legacy of 9/11: The U.S. Marine Corps and the Terror Attacks of September 2001, featuring special remarks, a panel discussion, wreath laying and book signing.
