Woodbridge, VA October 10, 2013 — 9:08pm Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a house fire at 14005 Roanoke Street in Woodbridge. Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported visible fire from the garage side of the home. The fire was quickly located in the garage and was under control within eight minutes.
Fire & Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD and PWC Department of Fire & Rescue, responded to the incident. One minor injury to a fire fighter. Three dogs were successfully located and removed from the home. One family was displaced and Red Cross was called in to assist. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office.
