pwc library(Prince William County, VA, 02/12/2014)… Each year, the Bull Run Regional Library offers free tax help for low- to moderate-income taxpayers and the elderly through the AARP Tax Aide program. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained to assist with preparing the 1040 Form and the more standard of the schedules, including Schedules A and B and the Virginia forms. Electronic filing (e-filing) is offered with no charge to the taxpayer and ensures more accurate tax returns and faster processing of tax refunds.

Tax Aide will be available on Mondays, March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays, March 6, 13, and 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, March 1 and 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No appointments will be taken; taxpayers will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis with preliminary screening to identify those requiring special attention.
