AARP Virginia is bringing an interactive event to the area where participants can discover how small, everyday actions can support their brain health. This experience introduces the Six Pillars of Brain Health, followed by a hands-on activity fair where attendees choose actions to explore, including movement and stress relief, nutrition, sleep, social connection and brain games.
Brain Health in Action in Woodbridge will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Potomac Library, 2201 Opitz Blvd., Woodbridge. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
Participants can choose their own adventure and leave with the knowledge to build lasting, healthy habits and practical ideas they can use right away. More information about June Brain Health Month events can be found at aarp.org/brainhealthva.
