What will your 2020 New Year’s resolution be? Maybe you want to learn to play an instrument, take a crafting class to tap into your creativity or be more social in the coming year. Or perhaps it’s the more traditional get healthier and fitter goal. No matter your resolution, the Manassas Park Community Center can help you stick to and achieve your new year’s goals with the All Access Passport membership.

The All Access Passport

The community center’s All Access Passport membership is geared toward families and households and can include up to 10 people at the same address. This membership is available to Manassas Park residents at a low monthly fee of $99. Non-residents can join at a rate of $129 per month. The membership includes nearly everything the center has to offer.

The Manassas Park Community Center strives to make recreation accessible to all residents, and the Passport is one of the ways they help achieve this goal.

“Parents will often prioritize their children’s recreation needs over their own based on time and money. With the Passport, there is very little additional money required for the parents to participate in programs, because most programs for all ages are included,” said Jason Shriner, marketing manager for the City of Manassas Park, Department of Parks and Recreation. “Everyone should have the opportunity to participate in recreation.”

When it comes to scheduling, the center staff does their best to overlap programs, allowing parents to participate in activities at the same time as their children, or allowing siblings to take part in programs at the same time.

”If there’s a children’s swim lesson going on, parents might be able to take part in a recreation, craft or group exercise class at the same time,” said Shriner.

And for children not enrolled in a program, parents can drop them off in the on-site daycare center, Kids Korner, for up to two hours at no charge. Enjoy classes or individual workouts while kids ages 6 months to 12 years are engaged in play and learning.
