More than 400 members and guests of REALTOR® Association of Prince William (PWAR) gathered at Gala Cuisine at Foxchase Manor in Manassas on Friday, March 24 for the Annual REALTOR® Awards Gala. The event recognized and honored over 250 REALTOR® members who reached exceptional production levels in 2016 as well as unveiled the recipients of the following 2016 Special Awards: Affiliate of the Year, Code of Ethics, Educator of the Year, Hall of Fame, Honorary Service, Manager of the Year, REALTOR® of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Sales Associate of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.
“Our agents continue to produce record breaking numbers,” remarked 2017 PWAR President Merlyn Banks. “We applaud and recognize those agents who have excelled in the business of real estate and are changing lives for the better through homeownership. Homeownership is still an aspirational achievement for millions of Americans.”

These top agents have reached a high level of achievement set forth by criteria and guidelines, through professionalism, due diligence, customer care and attention, and a strong knowledge of the real estate industry. In order to be eligible for the Million Dollar Club, a REALTOR® must be a current member of PWAR, be affiliated with an Association member firm in good standing, and attain certain designated goals of salesmanship. Sales were calculated from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of any given award year. Each year, hundreds of REALTORS® apply for these awards, which symbolize their hard work and dedication to the real estate industry.
