Molly Boone
Strategic Management Partners announced that Molly Boone of Brookdale Senior Living will address participants of Navigating the Caregiving Journey, a conference to empower family caregivers with resources and knowledge. Her talk will include a general overview of what dementia is, examples of different types of dementia and the associated symptoms, progression of the disease and expectations, as well as what you can do in your home or elsewhere to create an enriched life for your loved ones.
Molly Boone is a Divisional Dementia Care Manager for the Southeast Division. She has been with Brookdale since March 2014. Her professional career began in life enrichment programming, working in an assisted living and dementia care community in Atlanta. After three years as the Activity and Memory Program Coordinator, she moved into the role of Memory Care Program Director for a large freestanding dementia care community. During her three years as the Memory Care Program Director she served as a mentor for newly hired Program Directors as well as providing ongoing support and training for those in the position. Molly is an alumna of The University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and Gerontology.
