Do you have questions about the Prince William County Budget and want answers? Well, Prince William County Government has created an online application just for you.
A new online system, which can be accessed from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) website, allows citizens to submit questions about the County’s proposed Fiscal 2015 budget, and provides a list of those questions along with questions posed by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.
OMB reviews all questions and provides answers online for public consumption. The application allows people to search questions by keyword or filter for questions and answers based on a specific topic.
“There are a lot of questions that we answer for the Board members and for the public. Every question is posted online with the response,” said County Budget Director Michelle Casciato. “People want to understand how their tax dollars are used. The budget Q&A provides the information that people want to know in a very accessible way. It’s a great addition to our public process.”
