The investigation continues into the Aspen Place incident that happened yesterday at 1:30 p. m. One suspect, Manuel Gonzalez, was apprehended last evening around 9:30 p. m. and has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and discharge of a firearm in public.
Manassas City Police are still looking for a second suspect. PWL The investigation has revealed that the incident was related to a drug deal and shots were fired into the suspects’ house as well. Police are still working on recovering evidence from the home at 9605 Aspen Place and other suspects have not been identified at this time.
