The new year brings fresh opportunities to learn, connect, and explore—and for local residents ages 50 and better, the Manassas Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is ready with a Spring 2026 lineup that encourages just that. Registration for the January to May semester opens Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, and community members are invited to discover what’s available.
LLI is designed for adults who want to stay active, social, and curious. The upcoming semester features more than 40 options, including classes, discussion groups, a Book Club, Lunch Bunch, Mahjong Club, Game Group, and other social meetups. It’s a place where learning feels welcoming, and community comes naturally. As the organization’s motto says, “Learn as if you will live forever.”
Founded in 2003, the Lifelong Learning Institute is a member-run nonprofit offering affordable educational and social programs for adults 50 and older. LLI partners with the Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College and holds programs in the Manassas area during daytime hours.
Membership costs $75 per semester or $125 per year, and members can register for as many activities as they’d like. With two-semester programs offered annually in spring and fall, LLI remains a long-standing resource for connection, growth, and a sense of belonging.
Whether you want to try a new hobby, sharpen a skill, or make new friends, this spring may be the perfect time to get involved. Visit the LLI website, www.lli-manassas.org, to explore the calendar and start planning your semester.
