Merrimac Farm Master Naturalists (PWC Chapter) are now accepting applications for the Basic Training Course starting in January 2019.
The Virginia Master Naturalists are a corps of nearly 2000 trained and certified volunteers. Master Naturalists participate in Education and Outreach in our schools, Stewardship of our forests, parks and water ways, and Citizen Science ranging from Bio blitzes to Water Quality Monitoring. Merrimac Farm Master Naturalists are in partnerships with Merrimac Farm Master Naturalists (PWC Chapter) are now accepting applications for the Basic Training Course. They are sponsored by many state agencies including the Virginia Department of Forestry, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Virginia Cooperative Extension and Virginia Tech.
