Board Vice Chairman Elected

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA. . . During its Jan. 6 meeting, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors voted on several procedural items, to include electing a vice chair and adopting its 2015 meeting calendar. The Board elected Dumfries Magisterial District Supervisor Maureen S. Caddigan to a one-year term as vice chairman.

In her role as vice chairman, Caddigan will represent Prince William County at a variety of public events, as well as preside over Board meetings in the chairman’s absence. Caddigan is serving her sixth term on the Board of County Supervisors, and this is the fifth time Caddigan has served as vice chairman of the board.

Prior to her election to the Board of County Supervisors, Caddigan served for seven years on the Prince William County School Board. While on the School Board, her colleagues elected her as chairperson for three consecutive years. She has served, and continues to serve, on several committees and boards and is very active within the community. She has resided in Prince William County since 1969.
