Brian Tenney, executive director at Westminster at Lake Ridge, one of three not-for-profit Ingleside communities for older adults in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, officially earned his Health Services Executive™ qualification. Granted by the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB), Tenney is the second Ingleside senior leader to achieve the HSE qualification.

“Brian’s commitment to excellence and ability to contribute innovative ideas prove his dedication to the highest standard of care at Westminster at Lake Ridge for all its residents,” said Ingleside VP of Operations Christine Podles, MA, HSE, LNHA.

Tenney has over 20 years of experience in serving older adults. He previously was the executive director of a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Williamsburg, Virginia. He also was an Administrator and Regional Vice President of Operations for multiple post-acute care facilities.

The HSE qualification recognizes a common core and unique entry level competencies by line of service. This is awarded to long-term care professionals who demonstrated through a combination of education, experience and examination the competencies to meet licensure requirements in all lines of service including Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), Residential Care and Assisted Living Administrator (RCAL) and Home and Community-based Services (HCBS).
