Carmello’s/Monza to Support CASA for American Chocolate Week

American Chocolate Week is coming March 15 to 21 to Monza and Carmello’s of Historic Manassas. To celebrate, the restaurants are offering 10% off of chocolate dishes and cocktails during this week. They’re also donating to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates.) For more information, go to carmellos.com.

Customers ordering special chocolate menu items will receive 10% off from March 15 to 21. These items include:

  • Duck Breast w/Chocolate and Port Wine Sauce –  boneless duck breast, sea-salt red onion, celery, carrots, beef broth, molasses, unsweetened dark chocolate;
  • Baby Back Ribs –  chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground black pepper, apple cider vinegar, red wine, sea salt, unsweetened dark chocolate;
  • Lava Cake – gluten-free, dark chocolate molten lava cake, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla and cocoa powder
  • Black Forest Cake – dark chocolate sponge cake with layers of chocolate mousse with cherries and vanilla cream topped with chocolate ganache
  • Mount Monza Chocolate Cocktail
  • Belle’s Chocolate Moon Chocolate Cocktail
  • Go Bananas for Chocolate Cocktail

Alice Pires is owner of Carmello’s and Monza of Old Town Manassas. She said, “We love to give back to CASA. … [The organizaiton] helps so many children in need who otherwise could not represent themselves… We encourage all chocolate lovers to come out and enjoy some chocolate and support CASA.”
