CCAA Events is proud to present the 3rd Annual “Bring Joy With A Toy” Drive on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Bahama Breeze located 2714 Potomac Mills Circle, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
While the holidays can be the most joyful time of the year, it can also prove to be one of the most stressful as people are faced with the decision of want vs. need. This issue especially impacts homeless families. According to US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on a single night there are approximately 633,782 people in a state of homelessness making it amongst the most serious social and family issues of our time. Having recognized that one small act of consideration or selflessness can impact a life on a major level, the “Bring Joy With A Toy” Drive was birthed.
This year will be a special one for the “Bring Joy With A Toy” Drive as CCAA has partnered with Three Time Grammy Nominee Raheem DeVaughn’s LoveLife Foundation. Raheem will be joining CCAA Events along with some current and former National Football League (NFL) players to help achieve our goal. PWL The players committed to join the cause include Fred Smooth (CB Washington Redskins), Ryan Grant (WR Washington Redskins), Je’Ron Hamm (TE Washington Redskins), and all-time leading rusher at Penn State and former Washington Redskins Evan Royster. The event will be hosted by Guy Lambert and Tati of WPGC 95.5.
CCAA Events requests that the public bring unwrapped toys and gift cards for deserving families. Admission to the event is free of charge to patrons. Please join the movement while enjoying great appetizers, drink specials and wonderful fellowship as we gather for a cause.
