Get out of the house this winter and join us as we celebrate Black History Month in Prince William County at many of your local historic sites!

In Prince William County, like much of the South, African-Americans did not always have equal rights, but they struggled for them. Throughout much of the year, you can visit many of the historic sites to learn about the experience of African-Americans throughout the county’s history. While we are closed for the season, you can still join us in February as we celebrate Black History Month at many of the sites throughout the county. For more information, please check out our “Events” page on Facebook or call 703-792-4754.

Remember, while the sites are closed for regular tours, you can still come for a visit! Contact the sites to schedule your tour today at no additional cost. You can also visit the grounds daily or attend one of many special programs. Take a look at the monthly flyer to see what is new and exciting in the coming months.

Serve your community and help protect the county’s historic resources by volunteering at one of the sites or getting a FREE membership to the PWC Historic Preservation Foundation! With your free membership, receive $1 off regular admission and 20% off in our gift shops! For more information, please call 703-792-4754 or visit one of the sites.
