“Three Graces in the 22nd Century” by Roger Frey

The Artists’ Undertaking Gallery in Historic Occoquan presents “Celebrating the Arts”, an exhibit that will feature Paintings and Etchings by Roger Frey of Woodbridge, VA and Salt-Fired Pottery by Marianne Cordyack of Reston, VA.  The exhibit runs June 6 through July 3.  A Meet the Artists Reception will be held on Saturday, June 10 from 1:00 to 5:00 p. m.

A special presentation of interpretive dance will be performed on June 10 at 2:00 p. m. by Helping Hearts through the Arts, a group founded by Sue Skaddan dedicated to connecting individuals and groups within our community in artistic and meaningful ways.  The dancers will be Sue Skaddan, Pat Hall and Peg Schaefer, accompanied by keyboardist Richard Nash.

Sue was captivated by Roger’s colorful, whimsical, abstract paintings, especially the “Three Graces in the 22nd Century”.  The three dancers will perform an interpretation of Isadora Duncan’s “Three Graces”.
