Crowds gather before the opening of Bobby’s Burger Palace
On Tuesday, Potomac Mills welcomed its newest addition, Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) along with a visit from BBP’s famous owner, Chef Bobby Flay.

Crowds lined the sidewalk hoping to get a glimpse of the master chef, award-winning cookbook author and television personality and to be one of the first to get a Bobby’s Burger. Inside the restaurant, Flay spoke to members of the local media about specific items on the menu such as BBP’s signature Crunchburger ® and French fries with BBP Fry Sauce and the processes that the BBP chefs go through to make them. He also spoke about his vision for Bobby’s Burger Palace to be “upbeat, casual, comfortable.”
Occoquan Supervisor and Bobby Flay fan, Mike May was also in attendance. “We’re really excited to have [Bobby Flay] make an investment in his company here in the community and we wish [Bobby’s Burger Palace] all the best for success,” May said.
Bobby’s Burger Palace in Potomac Mills joins the ranks as one of 15 Bobby’s Burger Palaces around the country. It boasts 10 signature burgers all inspired by Flay’s travels around the country and his love of the grill. Indeed, one look at the menu will take you around the U.S. You can get a Philadelphia Burger, a Miami Burger or an L.A. Burger, just to name a few.
Flay has written several cookbooks including Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction, Bobby Flay’s Throwdown and Bobby Flay’s Burgers, Fries and Shakes. He’s also a regular on the Food Network, Cooking Channel and NBC.
Bobby’s Burger Palace is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 10pm, Friday-Saturday from 11am-11pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm. The restaurant is located at 2712 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge.
