Economic Impact Payments

Updates on the payouts from the Treasury Department and the IRS (the $1,200 payment to individuals as part of the CARES Act):

Those who are eligible and did not receive this payment through direct deposit will be able to submit information to the IRS starting today to have this money processed.
In addition, the Treasury Department announced the launch of a “Get My Payment” app. This will allow taxpayers who filed their tax return in 2018 or 2019 but did not provide their banking information to submit direct deposit information. The IRS has a webpage devoted to answering questions about this program. The answers provide clarity on whether individuals need to take any action in order to receive this payment.
