Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School Students Collaborate to Create Symphony Orchestra Masterpiece

When Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School Junior Ella Levri first wrote the song “Rescue” in eighth grade, she never imagined it would become a symphony orchestra piece. But thanks to her fellow classmate Cliff Hernandez, who arranged the song by ear for more than 90 instruments, that’s exactly what it has become. The Colgan Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Ben Bernstein, played the song which debuted at Colgan High School’s spring concert.
